So, yeah. Yesterday I spent just under £3,000 on a new camera… and I don’t have a single regret!

Some people may not believe me when I say this but I’v been shooting on a old D300 for the past 5 years. The only way I have been able to get away with it is because I know it better than the back of my hand and I use Nikon Pro Glass, like the 85mm F1.4 or the 24-70 2.8.

The D300 was holding me back Ridiculously! So once I get my hands on this I will be going crazy! I may open my book’s up to the general public as well.

Before I payed for the camera I was tossing and turning between the D800 and the D800E

The difference between the cameras is that the D800E has the AA filter removed from the camera which makes the photos sharper, as you can see above in the Photo’s.

BUT…. this doesn’t come without consequences, the AA filter is there to stop moiré appearing in your Photo’s. Because of this I made the decision that I’m better off with the D800 right now because I don’t know how to deal with moiré in my Photo’s. I can always get a D800E down the line once I’m more familiar with how to deal with it!.

so yeah D800!!!!! i can’t wait!

    D800Eとの差がよくわかります。ただし,モアレと偽色の対策が必要のようです。どちらも魅力的なカメラですね。この方は悩んだ末D800に決定したようです。
