The is the first Photo i have dealt with from the D800. A photo of my father.
Im not going to lie….. it blew me away.
I’m going to have to chang the whey I approach tacking photos and how i edit them.
There is so much information in the Photo’s that that come out a lot more flat in the RAW files.
I was literally stumped at what to do when i had them in LightRoom 4.
1 or 2 more tests and il have a grip of this amazing camera.

last night I was in the studio with Aga (aka PhotoTom) with Jordann as our model and liz doing Hair and make up.
Aga hasn’t been in the studio for about a year so it was a lot of fun because she was busy the whole way through the shoot haha. I was there just generally helping Aga out and sorting out the lighting.
I was very impressed with Liz’s make-up, even though liz is a good friend and I work with her a lot as part of FMA. I have never seen her in action as an MUA and I was very impressed! I’m sure she is going to be booked all the time from this shoot.
But yes, it was good shooting something a little more “proper” for one, because I know I haven’t been part of a photo shoot with a team in a while now. I think it has inspired me to do some more work.

im starting to get back in the sweing of bloging. Woop!
Last week I started a little project on my Facebook Page.
I have to post a portrait of someone I have met every day. I’m really enjoying the project so far but I’ve come to realize that I can’t post a photo every day because I travel a lot for work, which means I’m not always at my editing computer which has my archive of photos.
Still, I’m posting photos on there very often!
It has only just began and I’m looking forward to seeing where this will take me.

My first front cover came out last week! I’ll post a photo on here once I get the PSD’s because I would like you all to see them in better resolution than screen grabs or scans.
My first proper day shooting yesterday! i was in the studio in the morning doing some Press stuff
But i spent the afternoon with Flow Dem a Group from S.Wales who are getting pretty big in the UK after being on SkyOne’s “Must Be The Music”
I finally got to have a play with my new kit! The lovely Nikor 85mm F1.4 on my DX sensor it was 127.5mm so it was hard to use. but all i have to say is wow! it was extraordinarily hard to focus especially when you have a bunch of MC’s moving around in front of you. but i would recommend this lens to anyone! it is amazing! obviously if you can afford it because it does come with a price to match the quality.
